4th Week Summer in Edmonton

The start of my fourth and final week in Canada was welcomed with a warm and sunny day - we immediately headed to Fairmont Hotel MacDonald for a fabulous brunch. We had it at one of their lavishly decorated banquet halls which was restored to its original state. The actual building and some of its rooms were built at the early 1900's.

Outside the big banquet hall you will see this garden (as pictured below) - an English-inspired summer garden, intricately adorned with flowers and well-maintained by several gardeners equipped with their efficient garden tools  to create the fabulous curves and styles.

I see myself working for this hotel in the future, as I've heard from the executive sous chef, the Queen stays here when she is in Canada.

We will head to Banff tomorrow - hope it is also sunny there!
