Missing Trade School

My high school is similar to Florida technical schools and colleges, also known as Marikina Institute of Science and Technology (now Marikina Science High School). It is under the wing of TESDA in the Philippines. They cater to a lot of technical and vocational stuff - courses that are often neglected in first-world countries these days. Automotive, Minor Mechanical Courses, Dressmaking, Cosmetology, Food Technology, Wood Works, Leathercraft (what I did in high school) are some of the famous courses my school has.

My friend told me this morning that Canada is looking for 3000 butchers, we call them "matadero".

I wondered, are there any school or technical college here in the country that teaches this particular skill?
